I'm Raquel Ferreira, an owner of Toula's Family Restaurant. My dream of owning a restaurant, backed by my Hospitality Management degree and years of experience managing cafés, led me here in a wonderfully personal way. Towards the end of 2022, while pregnant and searching for a "family restaurant," I discovered Toula's was for sale – a place where my husband and I had already made happy memories! I officially took over in March 2023, eager to build on its legacy.
My passion lies in food and genuine hospitality. I especially love creating new desserts and planning your special functions. At Toula's, "family" means everyone: from small to large families, friends who are like family, and kids of all ages. We aim for quality ingredients, good service, and a homey atmosphere where you can create new memories.
My hope is simple: for Toula's to be your go-to spot when you want to enjoy a wonderful meal and connect with loved ones. We're a proud local business, and I value an open, supportive environment for our team. When I'm not here, I'm usually spending time with my family.
I'm Hernani Ferreira, but please call me Nani. As the owner of Toula's Family Restaurant, I'm thrilled to welcome you.
My journey here started after years in retail, driven by a love for food and, most importantly, a desire to build something where I could cherish time with my own family.
For me, "family" is the heart of Toula's. It's watching my daughter grow up within these walls – a journey many of our regulars have shared since we first took over. This restaurant is about creating that same warm, welcoming feeling for your family, our dedicated team, and our wonderful community.
I'm passionate about crafting delicious dishes with quality ingredients and ensuring you always receive warm, friendly service. Being a Portuguese man running a Greek restaurant, I love exploring all kinds of flavours! More than anything, I've learned that family is everything. My biggest blessing is having a place where my daughter can be with me.
My hope is simple: that you always remember what good food tastes like and feel the warmth of a true family business when you're here. We're always here, working hard, and we deeply appreciate your support, especially our regulars who've become like family to us.
